The pillow block style cuber is our most popular Scotsman ice machine.  The unit is a simple design and the cube style has a distinct advantage in that it nestles very nicely which means that a mixed drink will use less mix thus tasting stronger.  The best choice for any bar or restaurant.

This is the 48" wide pillow block or contour cuber. The ice making mechanism is the simplest in the industry and the warranty is the best, 3 years. They make a lot of ice. The largest of this series makes a ton of ice per day, now that's some kinda ice production.

The ice flaker is also an extremely simple design where a stainless steel screw scrapes the ice from the side of a refrigerated barrel in one nice continuous motion. What could be easier.  This style machine is favored by people who sell lots of soft drinks and by the fish mongers who pack their product in ice for absolute freshness.  It's also the least expensive way to make ice.
